Things to do in Seattle in Spring : Skagit Valley Tulip Festival

If you happen to be in Seattle in April, the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival is a must visit. The Tulip Festival at Roozengaarde is an annual springtime attraction in the State of Washington and is a couple of hours drive from Seattle. It is a great springtime day trip and completely worth it.

I love visiting every year. The flowers are in full bloom, the acres of Tulip and Daffodil fields are stunning with uninterrupted views of the majestic Cascade Mountains. The amazing array of colors and varieties of spring flowers are a sight to behold! Be prepared to take lots of pictures!

Know before you go:
1. Carry a water bottle and some snacks.
2. There is ample parking available.
3. It is really busy during the Tulip Festival so visit earlier in the day and/or on a weekday.
4. Choose a sunny day. It can get really muddy if there has been a lot of rain.
5. There is a snack and drink counter next to the display gardens too.
6. You can get your tickets here.

I captured a lot of lovely flower footage and compiled a video. Hope you enjoy!
